LSW is advising on the launch of the Zero linear channel in collaboration with Kanał Zero and the Polsat Group

LSW advised the Kanał Zero capital group (Kanał Zero S.A. and Kanał Zero TV sp. z o.o.) on the launch of the Zero linear satellite TV channel. The project was carried out in cooperation with our partner, the Polsat Plus Group.

The project involved comprehensive legal support at all key stages of the venture’s development, including the establishment of a special-purpose vehicle, the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation, and regulatory aspects related to television program distribution. It serves as yet another example of LSW’s involvement in complex projects at the intersection of media, new technologies, and market regulation.

The LSW team advised in particular on:

• corporate matters related to the establishment of a new entity within the Kanał Zero capital group and the regulation of intra-group relations,
• negotiations of key agreements with partners,
• intellectual property issues related to the broadcasting of the television program by the new entity;
• regulatory issues,
• tax aspects of the project.

Kanał Zero S.A. is the publisher of one of the fastest-growing media projects in Poland.
