Piotr specializes in tax law. In his practice, he primarily focuses on issues related to indirect taxes (particularly value-added tax), tax disputes, tax matters associated with mergers and acquisitions, and property tax.
Piotr is a leading tax authority in highly regulated industries such as the tobacco and gambling industries, and is considered a go-to advisor to Polish and international companies operating in the space. He is also an expert and regularly advises clients seeking to trade in or out of Poland, particularly companies from other continents seeking to enter their products into European market through Poland.
Tax
Piotr provides tax advice to clients from various sectors on ongoing tax matters. He has gained professional experience in tax advisory firms and international law firms. He also served as an in-house tax expert at one of the largest Polish financial institutions, where he handled VAT and property tax issues. Piotr has also worked at the Polish Ministry of Finance, where he was involved in international cooperation in the field of VAT and participated in EU working group meetings on VAT matters.

Piotr has provided tax advice on various aspects of many mergers and acquisitions transactions and real estate deals, as well as tax structuring of transactions.

- Dutch and Polish companies - Advisory for the seller (Dutch company and Polish companies) in the sale of the Łużycka Office Park complex (buildings A, B, C, and D) and Łużycka Plus, located in Gdynia. The new buyer of the complex was Investika.
- Chinese buyer - Tax advisory for a Chinese buyer in the acquisition of a portfolio of photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 51 MW from SINO-CEEF.
- Vestas - Tax advisory for Vestas in the establishment of a factory in Szczecin, producing components for offshore wind turbines.
- Fortress REIT Limited - Tax advisory for Fortress REIT Limited, based in South Africa, in another transaction for the acquisition of a logistics and warehouse property in Silesia.
