LSW’s team advises on another multi-jurisdiction data center transaction

LSW has advised Infranity on its investment into Vantage EMEA, one of the fastest growing hyperscale data center platforms.

Infranity joins DigitalBridge, a leading global alternative asset manager dedicated to investing in digital infrastructure and AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest pension fund, as shareholders in Vantage EMEA.

Vantage EMEA has a presence and development projects in Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Switzerland and the UK. Vantage’s data center campus in Poland is sited on more than 12 acres of land just outside of Warsaw. Once fully developed, the 36,000 square meters campus will comprise of two, four-story, state-of-the-art data centers offering a combined 48MW of critical IT load.

Vantage operates 30 hyper scale data center campuses across 5 continents with a capacity of over 1.9GW. This investment will enable the expansion and development of hyperscale data centres to meet the growing demand from global big data and cloud computing companies.

Infranity is an asset management company specializing in sustainable infrastructure investments. The company was founded as part of a strategic partnership with the Generali Group and manages approximately EUR 9 billion of assets on behalf of institutional investors.

LSW advised on Polish aspects of the transaction, with international law firm Simmons & Simmons advising on other jurisdictions.
