Marcin is an expert with regards the legal status of real estate, including, in particular, the identification and assessment of legal risks associated with legal defects in real estate, together with the preparation of recommendations for their removal or minimization. He advises on the sale of real estate and in lease agreements, and provides legal advice in the course of day-to-day business operations of entrepreneurs.
He has particular experience in reprivatization proceedings concerning real estate with a total area of tens of thousands of hectares.
He has conducted compensation proceedings for expropriated real estate concluded with the awarding of compensation for a total amount of over PLN 2 billion. He has carried out a number of complex investment projects, obtaining legal title to real estate, zoning decisions and building permits for clients. This includes obtaining legal title and the development of real estate, land consolidation and the protection of non-standard objects of cultural and historical value.
His professional portfolio includes handling construction projects on properties under the supervision and cooperation of a conservation officer. He has also successfully handled cases concerning the expansion and modernization of shopping centers in Warsaw. He has advised on logistics portfolio acquisitions.
Marcin has been involved in the legislative drafting of Polish real estate laws, including the laws on expropriation, the Act on Real Estate Management, the Water Law, the Transmission Act, the Hydrocarbon Act, Construction Law, the Act on the National Property Stock and administrative procedure.
He is the author of articles and commentaries and dozens of training courses on real estate, infrastructure investments and administrative procedure.
