LSW advised V4C, a private equity fund actively investing in Poland and other CEE countries, on the process of entering into a preliminary agreement to acquire a majority stake in Elocity, a provider of technology and services for electric vehicle charging systems. LSW’s role was to conduct a legal due diligence of the company and to prepare and negotiate the transaction documentation. The closing of the transaction is subject to obtaining a positive decision from the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) regarding the concentration. Edyta Niemyska is overseeing this process on behalf of LSW.
On the LSW side, the team conducting the legal due diligence included:
- Agata Kożuch (corporate matters),
- Katarzyna Michalik (labor law),
- Edyta Niemyska (competition law),
- Marta Augustyńska (intellectual property),
- Bartosz Nowicki (real estate matters, financing, commercial contracts, disputes, and insurance) and
- Dominik Krawczyk (GDPR).
The team’s work was coordinated by Marek Sawicki. The transaction documentation was prepared and negotiated by Marek Sawicki, with support from Agnieszka Mrozowicka.
Congratulations to everyone involved on another successful transaction!
