LSW advises Gilat Satellite Networks on $245M Satellite aviation transaction

LSW has advised Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd on the Polish aspects of the acquisition of Stellar Blu Solutions LLC. Gilat will pay $98 million at closing, with up to an additional $147 million payable in cash, contingent upon the achievement of post-closing business and financial objectives.

The transaction spanned multiple jurisdictions, including Israel, USA, UK, Germany, and Poland.

LSW’s comprehensive advisory services encompassed conducting due diligence, addressing employment issues, and managing post-closing actions related to the Polish subsidiary.

Stellar Blu is a leading avionics provider of next-generation SATCOM terminal solutions, offering turn-key inflight connectivity solutions, including terminal development, aircraft integration, and certification and installation packages.

The strategic acquisition positions Gilat as a leader in the in-flight connectivity (IFC) technology and solutions market for both commercial and business aviation, with potential expansion into other high-end mobility markets.
