Władysław leads LSW’s renowned Restructuring & Insolvency practice, and is considered a leading authority in the area. He also specializes in the field of broadly understood investments, especially in the area of mergers, acquisitions, and privatization proceedings, particularly in relation to distressed assets.
Restructuring & Insolvency
Władysław has more than 20 years of experience in handling complex domestic and international transactions as well as restructuring and insolvency matters, which have resulted in him playing a leading role in connection with some of the largest restructurings in Poland.
He advises both those claiming their receivables and those seeking protection from creditors. He conducts proceedings in matters related to the recovery and collection of receivables, securing receivables, as well as in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.
Corporate / M&A / Shipping & Maritime
Władysław is an expert on distressed asset M&A, but has also successfully led cases concerning the implementation of infrastructure investments and related financial instruments. He has participated, among others, in the privatization, transformation, and merger process of one of the most important steel mills for the Polish economy, and in the process of privatization and takeover of Polish shipyards.

Władysław has many years of experience in advising on court and administrative proceedings, and has conducted numerous complex cases on behalf of companies operating in various sectors of the economy, industry, and infrastructure.

Deal value: 350 000 000 PLN (EUR 77 800 000)
CPD S.A. - Development of a reorganisation structure for the CPD S.A. Group. - the main objective of which was to liquidate all subsidiaries in order to wind up the group's development activities. Deal value: Approx. PLN 50 000 000 (EUR 10 990 000)
Lakia Investments - Development of a concept for winding up the company's activities, including: sale of assets, satisfaction of creditors, securing claims in court proceedings and finally liquidation of the company. Deal value: PLN 28 290 000 (EUR 6 218 000)
Challange Eighteen – Advising on extinguishing the company's liabilities and conducting its liquidation. Securing claims in pending court proceedings, settlement of creditors' claims, conduct and completion of the company's liquidation. Deal value: Approx. PLN 2 000 000 (EUR 440 000)
Celtic Asset Management - Advising on the fire-sale of a property in Czosnów and reorganization of the Company to achieve liquidation of SPV assets and the company itself. Deal value: PLN 1 000 000 (EUR 220 000)
Dome – Advising on negotiations between two significant players who have been competing in the market for years, culminating in the acquisition of Dome by FKD.
Polska Żegluga Morska – Representing Polska Żegluga Morska pp (state enterprise) in connection with the issue of restructuring bonds with an issue price of approximately 180 million PLN and the incurrence of 84 mln USD of bridge financing, intended for short term refinancing of the other outstanding financial liabilities of the company and of several group companies.
Żegluga Polska S.A. – Advising Żegluga Polska S.A. on the process of refinancing of the debt in the form of bank loans and private bonds, by assisting the client in entering into a syndicated loan in the largest domestic banks in the amount of USD 120 million, Bank PKO BP S.A. acted as Agent.
